Although i am speaking as someone who does not have a gambling addiction, maybe those that do think differently, but i do not look at a betting company shirt sponsor and think, i'll go put a bet on now, similarly i never used to look at a racing car that was sponsored by a tobacco firm and think, i'll go have a ciggy now.

If a bunch of weak willed half witted fools are too pitiful to control themselves in gambling sensibility and within their means, then why should that impinge on the opportunity of the rest of us to be able to continue to pay some of our household bills through our ability and pleasure in outwitting the bookies on a regular, continuing annual basis?

If people are so inclined they can make five gallons of 20% proof alcohol in less than a week for a total outlay of less than a tenner. Clubs being open a couple of hours longer is nothing compared to that. |  |
