Of all our transfer f**k-ups in recent years, not re-signing JA has to be up there with the biggest of them all.
I'll admit that I've not been quick enough on the uptake of this, but since the inflated transfer fees in the premier league occurred, the short-sightedness of the board (knowing that the new tv would come into effect) is staggering. £13m is an absolute steal.
Why didn't they see that this would have been a great deal when they knew the tv deal was coming into effect?

There would have been a few on here arguing not to bring him back. Arguing that 15 million was too high. However I believe Allan was preservung his Liverpool salary and we had Siggy Gomis as high earners and much lower funds than Stoke. The lower offer was due to salary.
