End of an era for Welsh football? 08:06 - Oct 11 with 3061 viewsjojaca

Wales fail to qualify for World Cup with one of our best teams.

Swans get relegated this season (This diamond formation full of central midfielders with pretty much similar attributes, it's just echo's doom like my post).

Cardiff lose on penalties in play off final.

Years on jumping between Championship and League One........
Gareth Bale retiring.....

Even when you know, you never know?

Quite possible, but let's hope not.

Tom Lawrence, Ben Woodburn, Ethan Ampadu, David Brooks....all succumb to an accelerated ageing virus & have to give up football....FFS.

"Cardiff lose on penalties in play off final? "

There's always a silver lining.

CLEMENT OUT!
Poll: This Sanches fella. Anyone think we'll actually sign him then?

And what's the bad news !!

This might well happen but that's just life. Being Welsh is about taking the rough with the smooth, the ups with the downs; it's what makes us strong. Much better than being English ... ;)

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!

Christ almighty.

Wales haven’t qualified for a World Cup for 60 years. Just missing out on the playoffs would have been seen as a great campaign not long ago.

Swans had 11 or 12 points last Christmas and were playing worse under Bradley than we are now. No-one gets relegated in October.

Gareth Bale is in his late twenties.

Or Bale is just 27 and the average age of tbe squad is 25.
They lost just one game in a tough WC group.
And dont mention the Euro16 semi-final.

Swans remain in the Prem after decades in the lower leagues.
Swans have more money available that most clubs in the world.

Real happiness would be Cardiff losing to Derby at Wembley, and Joe Ledley getting the winner.

Happy to help.

I personally think Wales have things in place to stay at about our current level indefinitely. Qualifying for the Euro's near enough every time and being there or thereabouts for the World Cup. For a country the size of ours I don't think you can ask for much more.

Upthecity!

There are some drama queens on this board

We are in a good place atm with players mentioned earlier coming through and hopefully more and more on the conveyer belt

I live in england and there are some feckers who are moaning that their team is sheeite during a game then next day after they qualify say they are gonna win the whole damn thing

You can take the boy out of Wales but you cannot take Wales out of the boy
