Looking to branch out past the usual places (King's Head/Greyhound etc). Realised recently that there are quite a lot of pubs in Gower I've never been, such as pubs in Kittle/Bishopston etc. Looking for a winter pub, that's dog friendly, where you can have a meal, but it's not overly restauranty.

Last yr at Protur Alicia Cala Bona was great, but The Astoria at Alcudia this yr was a grade above superb. [Post edited 20 Oct 2017 16:16]

They also don’t let dogs in unless it’s changed recently? You can walk a dog through the bar to the outside bit, but can’t stay inside.
I agree it’s a shithole. Criminal misuse of a location like that. Food has improved significantly in recent years though | | | |
