Following my leaf clearing extravaganza I sat on the patio furniture for one last time this year and sipped at an ice cold Menabrea.
Not seen this until quite recently when it appreared in both Tesco and Morrison’s. I prefer it to Peroni and I’ve only seen it in 660ml bottles.

The description on the bottle reads as ‘Birra Blonda Premium Lager’
It’s nice but not my favourite. There’s a hint of fruit about it whereas I prefer the more bitter Eastern European fare. If anyone comes across a bottle of Ukrainian Obolon then I urge you to have a slurp as it’s tremendous stuff. | |
