I wonder if there are still IRA cells in and around Liverpool, reading that lots of arms were buried.

Southampton is the busiest cruise terminal by quite some distance in Blighty.

Liverpool has always been known as a slum, a dangerous, dirty place with lots of poor people.
There is such a thing as 'poverty porn', lots of TV programmes about it, is there such a thing as 'poverty porn' tours in Liverpool ?

Only known as a slum city by ignorant people by you.
I have relatives living in and around Liverpool.
Of course there are poor areas.
Of course there are bad things about the city, like the gang culture.
However, many of upstanding citizens live in and around the city.
Like Swansea, there are sides of it we'd rather not see.
Like Swansea, it is trying to improve itself.
Like ECB, I grew up in Clase, an area of Swansea that could never be described as affluent.
However, if you listen to all the reports you wouldn't go there now without a shotgun.
Yet I still have relatives there, who I can assure you are not "scum" or living in slums, or taking drugs.
Other areas of Swansea, like Bonymaen, also seem to always get a bad press, rather than a more balanced view.

They look in a dustbin for something to eat, they find a dead rat........that song has been around for decades, usually only sang at certain teams as well.

excellent post every area has its good and its bad areas and certainly much of the bad is overhyped. Unfortunately Dung insists in slagging off Swansea while making Liverpool out to be totally rosy.
