Any UPVC door experts on here? 12:45 - Nov 10 with 2660 views

Hi

I have noticed that my UPVC front door has started sagging in the top right hand corner, I believe that this can be rectified using allen keys.

The door is attached to the frame using 4 hinges, any advice on how I can properly correct this?

If it's anything like mine there are 3 adjustments on each hinge - up/down (lifts/drops the whole door), in/out (adjusts the snugness to the frame at the hinge side) and vertical alignment (adjusts the whole door's vertical-ness!).

I fixed mine when it started catching on the threshold). It's a bit tricky because some adjustments have to be done on all hinges e.g. lifting the whole door.

Try YouTube - lots of videos, like this one

but be aware that not all hinges are like this one.

On mine the cover plate is removable, revealing the adjusting screws.

Without seeing yours, it could be as simple as adjusting the top hinge to pull the top of the door back towards the hinge. Or maybe not. Good luck.

its not the glass, that has dropped, its the actual door itself.

I know what you mean by packers now, the rectangular plastic inserts between the glass and frame.

Lol it's the door sash which is packed of glass or panel to square it up basically the door sash needs lifting up to meet the frame properly
