OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

Would this information be readily accessible to the privy council? Or is it just the cabinet?
I think of you are appointed to the privy council you are for life, cabinet members are automatically appointed therefore........ I guess not as Labour are asking for the information.

A veto is a veto is a veto
And a once in a generation vote.....
Warwick, how have I had a kicking? First it was denied there was any prospect of an EU army, now Merkel and Macron are backing it but it's ok because we have a veto? In a country full of Europhile politicians, does having a veto matter if it's not used or if it can be gotten around. I used MSM because so many other people do, it's not rocket science, use an acronym because it's easier or are you suggesting something else?

A veto has a legal standing.
A remark made during a referendum which in itself was advisory on the other hand....

Not publishing makes it look like the Tory party have something to hide.
Parliament is sovereign so publish, we are not yet a fascist dictatorship.
Disclosure is important to any modern western democracy.
To be fair to the government, i don't really blame them for not wanting to publish all of their legal advice. They have the right to confidentially probe every legal avenue, whether good, bad or just daft without going public. Some of their questioning could open them up to unnecessary ridicule and i don't think that's fair or helpful at this time.

Even when they publish advice the likes of Blair have embellished the evidence leading to the advice and still the MPs vote to go to war in that case for example. The trouble is we should be able to trust them and we are running out of patience because of behaviour on all sides, we need to get away from professional politicians and recruit people with good experience and a good track record of doing the right thing.

Labour might be asking for the information for political reasons. If there’s a bombshell in there that the likes of Corbyn already know about as a member of the privy council but can’t reveal because of the rules surrounding being a member it would be of great political capital to labour in their quest to bring down the government to have this info laid bare.
As I said I don’t know whether the privy council will have access to this legal advice or not but it would be surprising if they didn’t, which suggests labour already know the contents.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

What bollocks.
Assuming May's withdrawal deal gets agreed, you and other brainiacs want every single piece of legal advice made fully public, meaning EU are fully aware of every single nuance.
Great way to negotiate, that.
Starmer has a cheek to talk about discloure and transparency.

Its supposed to be a government of the people, for the people. Transparency is not an optional extra.
Its not supposed to be a government for the government, is it ?

SO you want every government decision to be transparent? Get real...
Have EU published every bit of legal advice they've received - no. Why not? Pretty simple really, in any negotiations you don't want the other side knowing precisely what you do and don't know, what legal, financial etc advice you have because that weakens your negotiating position.
A summary was put out, Cox was present to answer questions. That by parliamentary convention has always been acceptable.
Starmer knows that, he and others sh1tstirring not for concern for the public, not for doing the best for Britain but because he's an opportunist. He sees a way to force a general election and get Labour elected; with his star shining, sees himself as Corbyn's successor.
