OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

The UKIP party and its voters that heseltine is referring is totally different to the UKIP party today.

UKIP has, and always will have, a record of attracting people of that view. If not openly racist, certainly openly xenophobic. It’s always been that way and they’ve always had a problem with racism in the party ranks.

Some people may have been suckered into voting for them, but what they stand for has always been obvious to any one willing to look.

I’ve never voted UKIP but I wouldn’t be ignorant and suggest that the the whole party and its 3.8m voters were all racist. It was probably the party that attracted the tossers amongst us but that’s a small minority.

Great comment in The Guardian after John Crace’s latest caustic piece -

“Perhaps May wanted to keep the benefits of staying in her car while also attempting to leave it“

The older generation have ruined this country, people that are pensioners now that voted Thatcher and then Blair, that generation sold our nationalised industries and housing stock for a song, paid themselves too much, gave themselves too many holidays, had final salary pensions, paid less and less taxes and still paid themselves benefits and services like swimming pools, parks, libraries etc not to mention free education and health.

This generation is paying for their excesses, I think the parents of todays pensioners the war generation that brought in the NHS and a radical socialist Government must be turning in their graves at what their children's generation have done, all for personal greed.

And now they have voted for Brexit against the younger generations wishes.

My Dad's a pensioner, fought in WW2, lost a load of his mates (he can still list them by name and how they died), started with £20 after the war, ran his own business through the economic problems of the 70s and 80s (Interest rates and inflation at 20% plus), worked for 45 years, saved for his own money purchase pension and sold his house to pay for his care in later life (£1,000 a week in indirect tax)

I think you'll find politicians were making the decisions, to blame the ordinary person in the street is incorrect.

There is a dangerous political rhetoric that sets generation against generation in order to get votes.

The root cause of where we are now is successive governments both Labour and Conservative making short term decisions to get votes rather than take a long term view of the countries future.

The fact you see a man, who labels people with a different political opinion to him as racists, as a giant of a man tells me all I need to know really. Especially when you criticise others for having a negative opinion of people who’s opinion differs to theirs.

I didn’t say he was a giant of a man. I said :

“He’s a bloody giant compared to the vacuous nonentities we are saddled with now though.

Heseltine or Raab? It’s a joke. “

When someone says ‘compared to’ it’s introducing a relative measure, not absolute. It’s an attack on the paucity of talent now.

I’d already said I agreed with some things politically and disagreed with others.

For the record I also believe Foot or John Smith was a giant compared with the vacuous non entities who form a percentage of the Labour front benches now.

I'm not talking about the generation born in the 1920s im talking about their children born in the 40's, who were late teens/early twenties in the 60s and who were in their 40s in the 1980's and are now in their 70s, that free love, drug taking, Thatcher and Blair voting im all right jack generation, that voted for tax cuts, had council houses on the cheap, under priced shares in our nationalised industries and all the benefits of the welfare state before the money started to run out, that crowd.

Yet you’d be happy to leave it all to this generation where they spend all week obsessing about not having enough vegan options on the menu and the fact the toilets are labelled ladies and gents rather than gender neutral, then spend all weekend off it on Charlie, Ketamine and all those ‘legal highs’ they are able to take these days. None of whom can wash a dish or know what a paper round is.

They all want to go to uni in Europe all of a sudden though.

What you are saying that a generation of parents and grandparents have deliberately undermined the futures of the children and grandchildren?

The people I know with children actively support and encourage their children (as an example family members are estimated to give £81 billion to support children and grandchildren, this does not sound sound like the people who put themselves before their offspring).

It is cynical of politicians to say you've been short-changed by your parents..........vote for me.

People that are old enough to pay income tax, drive a car, join the army, have children should be old enough to vote, just like older people.

Greed, no doubt most did not give a second thought to future generations.

I'm not aware of politicians saying to people ''you've been short-changed by your parents..........vote for me'', you have to be 18 to vote and lots of young people don't vote anyway.

The people that are often targeted to vote by politicians are older people because politicians know they tend to vote more than the youngest age groups.
