OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

Celebrating being four points ahead. Four f*cking points. Jesus. This government is illegitimate. It has no mandate and is squatting in power and about to take us out of the EU with a withdrawal deal that absolutely everyone thinks sucks. Yet let’s all yay cos a poll shows labour four points ahead. They should be 30points ahead for crying out loud.
Just stick a blue Rossete on anyone in the Tory heart lands and they’ll vote Tory .

30 pts 😂 you’ve had to much lite ale
A 'moderate' Labour leader would be streets ahead. The trouble is the grass roots support and unions don't want a moderate Labour leader. That's the party's call - I can respect sticking to core principles, even if those principles aren't that popular with the electorate that needs to be won over. It's just frustrating that the only party with a realistic hope of ousting possibly the worst government we have ever had is currently pulling itself apart.
The sad irony in all of this is that people complain like feck about the Tory's approach of funnelling public cash to already-wealthy shareholders and super-rich, tax avoiding owners. Yet don't want to embrace a party that says that needs to stop. I don't know why (although very effective Tory propaganda, backed by a strong conservative media obviously helps). People want something different but they also seem afraid of change and want Tory-lite instead of socialism.

Yes, 30 was a deliberate exaggeration for effect but there’s no getting away from the fact that Labour should be 15-20 percent ahead at this point. The fact that they aren’t speaks volumes. Corbyn will never be PM. I’m not even sure he wants to be. Having actual power won’t suit his and Mcdonell’s brand of protest politics which only work from a position of being in opposition.

Of course the scruffy cabbage wants to be.
However the sooner likes of him, McDonnell and their lap dogs like Owen Jones are packed off to dignitas the better

Owen Jones is meaningless. He’s a newspaper columnist ffs why you and Prosser keep mentioning him is beyond me. Bigger picture mun.
Because the champagne communist keeps peddling the same bile. I don't say this lightly as a parent of 2 children bit he most definitely falls into the category of being cast into room 101.

You could do what I do and not read his column. Not sure what your kids have to do with anything as it relates to Jones but if you feel better that Dad isn’t having to read bile then don’t read it.

Excellent post as always my friend
Labour will have a socialist leader after Corbyn And we’ll all be in his or hers “cult” as well

I don't but the cretin pops up everywhere. I meant saying about him being packed off to dignitas, excuse my PeRcH incoherence; a difficult night last night 🤣

Cult ,facking hell 😂
Cult, Tom - “a person or thing that is popular or fashionable among a particular group or section of society.”
As a workable definition that scans.
Don’t worry too much though. If they try to make you wear a dress or anything else that makes you uncomfortable just give me a shout. My lance and steed are always stood ready, I’ll bust you out of there, son.

You’re saying great post yet in reality that’s mirroring what everyone else has been saying.
A moderate leader would mean a guaranteed labour victory
The tories hate the tories at the moment. The reason they survive is purely because Corbyn is so bad that the minuscule threat of him beating them holds them together
I’ll say it again - if you want to destroy the Tory party forever get rid of Corbyn. But you’ll never see it.

Point of order, Mr Chairman - when people say that they want a ‘moderate’ leader what is it they are asking for? The same palsied hand on the tiller of SS Perpetual Decline, a recharting of the course toward inertia.
If there is one thing just about everybody can agree on the Brexit vote was an outpouring of dissatisfaction with things as they are. That Genie is in no rush to go back in the bottle as far as I can tell.

That’s why we need PR. No party can break through if they don’t have a “heartland” that will vote for then whatever happens. It renders about 50% of all votes cast in a general election meaningless.

When I say moderate, I don’t necessarily mean Blairite
I mean someone from say the soft left of the party. A competent ‘pragmatic’ socialist who believed in the defence of the realm, reaching out across the party could win
The protest vote of Brexit coupled with the rise of the extremes in both parties is a warning shot, but it’s temporary in my estimation. Eventually people will wake up, it’ll just take some time

Do you have anybody particular in mind you think could assume the role?

You’ll struggle to find anyone in Westminster if you insist the inclusion of competence to be added to the list of job requirements.
