OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

I disagree with a second referendum because it could lead to a neverendum. Remain win - what then? Best of 3, best of 5? Leave win? It still won't be accepted because after all, it's old racist people only who vote Leave, right?
I think May has been abysmal, MPs who have voted for Article 50 knowing no deal default with a timeframe who then went on to work against that have been pathetic. It's been poor all round.
What is damaging is uncertainty. The longer the process goes on, the more damaging it is. Most people would rather get on with trade talks.
You’re a good poster Bluey but for God’s sake stop this ‘neverendum’ nonsense that you and your ilk keep monotonously spouting.
The purpose of a second referendum is to judge the view of the people NOW. Not 2 years ago because that was then. Which is not now. Now is what matters and a win to either side of 52 to 48 or even 51 to 49 would be binding in my mind. Just as that farce of a referendum in Wales in 97. Personally I believe a shift in status quo such as these two and a Scottish referendum should be 65 to 35 but that’s not what it is.
So, NOW what do the people want. Now that people are far more aware of the consequences of their bite, what would they say?

I get told quite a lot by people on the far left that Labour deserved to lose in 2015 because it was a proponent of neoliberal, Tory-lite policies. The Trade Union and Socialist Coalition stood a candidate who didn't even bother to turn up to the election count to see his 100 odd votes come in. We then lost my home seat by an agonizing 27 votes, and as a result we were lumped with an incompetent shoveller of Tory austerity for 2 years.
Face me with the choice between a Tory Brexit and a Corbynite Tory Lite Brexit and see what happens. It'l be a hard lesson that you'll learn too.

Let’s ask them eh and find out ONCE and for all.
Everybody said exactly that in 2016. If leave wins again can we trust anybody to accept the result when they didn’t accept the result of the first one? We’ll be back to square one with everyone calling for a third vote.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I really don’t have the energy for this.
One thing for sure, there’s not one ‘deal’ that attracts a majority in the House yet. For that I’d make the case that we revoke Article 50 and go back to the drawing board. If something can be put forward in the next 3-5 years then go through the process again.

Probably not the right day to be arguing about old racist people when there are crowds of leave supporters currently listening to Tommy Robinson rant about Islam, while Generation identity flags fly in the evening sunshine alongside swastikas and an Orange Order pipe band is in attendance.
One thing I genuinely don’t understand with some of the people who are so concerned about ‘British’ this and ‘sovereignty’ that, is their obsession with flying US flags as well, and wearing Trump hats. It’s almost as if they don’t really give a sh*t about Brexit, they’re just a bunch of extreme right wing tossers.

A general election won’t solve anything.
In the same way as Brexit shouldn’t be used to further the Tory cause, it also shouldn’t be used to further Corbyn’s cause. Both are equally unprincipled and shameful.
A cross party decision is needed.
Both our useless leaders should give free votes next week.

Indeed Lisa, what a disgusting collection of individuals we've witnessed on our TV screens today, both ranting on the stage and baying in the crowd. To quote Warwick, swivel eyed loons. I'm ashamed to be from the same country.

Absolutely.
Leave it to the back benchers. Whatever the consensus emerges to be, pass legislation to force May and any other leader to follow it. Then they can do what they want.
I’m think deal with customs union and confirmation referendum may emerge together with a delay if at least a year. DUP have just said they’d rather remain than have deal.
Edited - May’s deal that is.

No idea why broadcasters give them the time of day.
They didn’t do the same last weekend when there were hundreds of thousands there rather than a few thousand.
The genuine leave people who were there are the ones I feel sorry for - their perfectly reasonable and peaceful agenda is highjacked by jack booted fascist thugs.

What’s the reason for the US flag? If just because they think it looks good I genuinely despair at the state of some of the people in this country.

I’m impressed how you think the labour leave strongholds won’t turn their back on labour.
Interesting thought that!
There should be no missing the point if a general election is called when it comes to whether standing M.P's voted to push this Brexit through parliament today or whether they voted to block it.
During the last election I predicted on here that Labour would win Gower and with what approx majority. I was right just like I was (despite opinion polls) with the EU referendum.
Here's my precision if Tonia Antoniazzi has voted to block today and she is standing against a eurosceptic/Brexiteer Tory? She will lose and it would be the same if roles were reversed i.e. the Tory would lose if he had a blocking stance.
I wonder if she/Gower Labour will mention (or anyone else of whatever other party) mention how they voted? Will it be published clearly in big black block letters in election leaflets?
Argus!

All it will take is for The Gardian to write an article blaming the Russians and they’ll be off again.

A second vote of some sort is now odds on?
75 percent of MPs are remainers and that's what they will steer it towards. Whatever happens we have a serious issue with the quality and know how of MPs.
A General Election will not help right now, there has to be some fundamental change to how people get selected for election otherwise we will have a similar set of incompetent, factional, self serving, arrogant and in many cases mediocre career politicians.
Countdown to the end of Democracy in the UK on 18:23 - Mar 29 by Highjack
What exactly do we know now that we didn’t know then?
Is that a serious question?
1 - the proposed withdrawal agreement 2 - the direction of our future relationship with the EU 3 - no end of impact assessments outlining how any kind of Brexit f*cks the country for years. 4 - that the NHS isn’t getting the extra bunce the leave campaign said it would.
I’ll leavd others add more if they want to.
To answer your question, we know... stuff now. Stuff that we didn’t know before.

This 75% of MPs are remainers stuff seems to have become accepted fact but I’ve never seen the source of it and the votes in parliament over the last few years don’t back it up. And far fewer than 50% of them voted in favour of a second referendum just three days ago.
