OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

Farce indeed.
The thing that really adds extra seasoning to this farce is parliament seems to have a most one sided speaker that does not believe in practising impartiality/neutrality.
I always thought a speaker was not meant to take sides? A bit like a football referee or a marriage guidance counsellor?
Argus!

There were even more tits in the House than normal this afternoon apparently. Another boost for the Parliament channel’s ratings.
Sadly, camera couldn't show them. "Extinction Rebellion" climate change muppets because nothing aids the cause more than stripping off and gluing hands to glass.
Photos showed that quite frankly there was nothing really much to see, bunch of mingers really.

His duty is to Parliament not the executive.
He’s doing a great job.

With a minority government clearly intent on governing without recourse to parliament I have to agree. The Speaker’s duty is to protect the interests and influence of parliament. It’s probably a more important role at this given moment than it has been for centuries.

Apparently the talk seems to be, my amatuer take on things could be wrong, I get the gist the 4 motions Bercow has just selected (ignored four others) for votes tonight are all Remain and all continue uncontrolled free movement?
The inkling I get, and I stand to be corrected. Is?... Minority Brexit opinion within parliament aside, despite the referendum there was never any genuine intent to have a Brexit and to honour a Brexit vote because a Brexit result would be ignored anyhow?
The whole thing seems to have been a farce, a loaded dice scam. If the politicians had this intent from the off they should never have sh@t upon democracy and the votes of the public by holding a referendum in the first place.
Common Market 2.0 and customs union both involve us leaving the EU.
2nd referendum may or may not. Revoke in event of no deal may or may not.
The ones that were not chosen were not chosen as they’ve been voted down in huge majorities more than once so it’s a waste of time.

Today is the day, of course, where new anti tax avoidance legislation was introduced across the EU which will make it far, far harder to squirrel profits away without paying appropriate tax on those profits. New anti money laundering legislation was also introduced.
It’s enough to make one wonder why the likes of Rees Mogg, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage, Rupert Murdoch, Arron Banks et al are so keen to leave. And why the initial date for us leaving was to fall just before the deadline.
A curious coincidence I’m sure.

The Norway option is logical the problem is T. May and her red lines have destroyed what should have been a compromise
Shower of sh1t the whole thing
Only time in history a Country has self imposed economic sanctions
She’ll end up pitting either that or the customs union proposal (although the latter is more likely than 2.0 I think) against her deal in a final attempt to break the stubborn hard Brexiters by saying “vote for mine or you’re going to get something even worse”. Might well work. Problem is though that the DUP is likely to not be too bothered about a customs union as it makes the border a non issue.

I haven’t had time to check them yet Bluey. In the meantime I’ll take your word for it.

I think the customs union is a tactic by europhiles to wind the brexiters up to eventually come out in favour of a people’s vote
Customs union on its own is indeed a sh1t idea
It should be remain or WTO and if we vote for WTO I will accept that gather my blue passport and leave the Country

The DUP prefer to remain let alone customs union.
And the centrists (Boles, Clarke etc) should vote for their amendments attached to her deal. These votes concern the political declaration rather than withdrawal deal.
Plus Bercow is well within rights to stop her deal being voted on again (and should stop it in my view) without amendment formed by any consensus which could emerge. I’m not sure one will, but we’ll see between now and Wednesday.

I’ve always thought that the EU’s desire to clamp down on tax avoidance explains a lot. The UK Govt. has continually dragged their feet on this question in the EU and has been influential in reducing the number of number of tax havens to be targeted. Funny how you don’t read about that in the Daily Mail.

It’s not just Tax avoidance it’s things like the social chapter which right wingers hate
e.g. 48 hr working week
Also climate change legislation and more compliance in financial services
Basically if you’re a let the market rip type the EU can be a problem, if you’re more like myself that believes in a well regulated market economy the EU is great. If you’re on the hard left you hate it because it encourages competition and not State monopolies
In the main the anger towards EU comes from the Uber right wing capitalist element and yet the greatest trick these people play is persuading people who benefit from the EU to hate it
