OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

And FoM of unskilled workers hasn't crapped over working class?

Sadly freedom of movement has been a significant force-multiplier that aided and abetted the downward spiral of falling wages, job losses and appalling working conditions in the construction industry. FACT! Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in cloud cuckoo land.

Right then ...

The uk could have prevented people moving into uk under EU rules. We chose not to.
If the uk leaves the EU eventually, then EU people could be prevented from moving to uk.
However ....the desired trade deals with China, India, Turkey, etc will have associated people flows into the uk from those countries.

This is as funny as feck, English Gammons will fecking explode with rage !

I've zero problem with banning unskilled workers from entering UK.

We need a skills based system which doesn't have endless talentless people abusing visa system a la IT sector.

It's also about the infrastructure/public service of the U.K also.

There was a statistician on ITV News that presented the fact that in a few decades from now the U.K population will have increased the size of ten Birminghams. Doesn't sound as bad as the twenty Liverpool's it could be termed as also.

I mean a day and age of jump through hoops triage G.P appointments, people unable to get NHS dentists, ambulances not turning up. FFS how will the country be able to cope with additional numbers and pressure with the increase mentioned? Frightening!

Germany, Benelux, Denmark and most of Scandinavia have freedom of movement, they also have domestic legislation that provides protection to workers in respect of wages, job losses and working conditions.

Freedom of movement is not the cause of austerity economics, and independent studies show that it has virtually zero effect on local wages.

The right wing brexiteers want to keep freedom of movement for their capital, goods and services, but not for the labour force. Why is that? It used to be called serfdom.

You raise some decent points!

And if you mean " independent studies show that it has virtually zero effect on local wages" when applying to the non-UK countries and not the U.K itself?

If those independent studies were commissioned by unions of the countries concerned? I'd agree entirely because Union agreement will be the true benchmark and the only real validation of what workers really experience.

I won't argue with that.

Sadly it's been a different matter for this part of the world hence the UNITE/GMB 'pay-the-rate-protests'. It is indeed a major concern that cheap Labour from overseas has denied jobs and working conditions and yes the Tories (and surprisingly New Labour) were and still are just as comfortable with that as the Tories were when there was Y.O.P/Y.T.S exploitation of yesteryear.

I agree. It’s fairly traditional to blame immigration for driving down wages and standards and it’s true. But it doesn’t have to be that way as you’ve illustrated, it’s happened because successive governments have allowed and encouraged immigration without securing the rights of indigenous workers. It’s been a deliberate act by government because it suits them and their agenda and it’s also been a deliberate act to encourage the blame for the decline in standards and wages to be placed on the immigrants themselves as opposed to where the blame actually lies with our own governments. This sort of thing has happened throughout history and the end result is always the same.

There is a major voter revolt on the way.... I predict it'll come more from The Brexit Party and the announcement from a few hours back that the party intends to stand in the next general election shows it has every intention to hang around.

I’ll make an alternative prediction. Whenever the next general election rolls around (not the European election which have always been an outlier or the upcoming council election but the GENERAL election), around 65-70% of all the votes cast will still be cast for Labour and the Conservatives.

Well the trouble is over a few decades previous governments have offered the working class zilch. And many see voting on a single word as the only alternative, intelligent peaceful (without being arrested) protest left.

And the size of the upcoming revolt will sort of say something really profound.

Choosing the most extreme architects and cheerleaders of the economics and lack of social concern that have caused it is hardly likely to have the desired effect is it.

What it will say is people are extremely stupid.

It’s not the EU rules on freedom of movement that have had an effect it’s the implementation of those rules by the right wing that are now blaming immigration.

Brexit will make it worse not better.

No, it’s the implementation of domestic policy that has caused such issues,

Removal of such worker protections that there are will make things a thousand times worse.

The people that want Brexit are largely (ignoring the supporters of so called ‘lexit’ that simply don’t understand that the EU doesn’t prevent the policy implementation that they desire as they haven’t moved on from the 70s) supporters of reduced protection and regulation. That’s because it allows them to make money. They don’t do that by giving workers a better deal.

Yeh but blaming it on immigration is a much easier narrative to understand. Even if that involves believing that South Wales is flooded with migrants which are causing the job woes Lohengrin and westwingwood are facing.

With one or two honourable exceptions, the talent in the Labour Party is on the back benches.

The “leadership” is fûcking pitiful and rooted in 70s utopian socialism.

I see two members of change U.K. have been sacked for posting stuff on twitter about Romanian pickpockets and “black whores”.

Also this quote has surfaced. I wonder which hardcore brexiteer said this:

“I believe the EU has become a huge, overly costly, bureaucratic organisation fundamentally lacking in both democracy and accountability to the many millions of people who pay for it through their taxes and who are bound to live by its rules”.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
