OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

Countdown to the end of Democracy in the UK on 14:02 - Sep 5 by Jango

Well if they’d refused to vote to invoke article 50 at the time they would have been voted out and a leave candidate would have been voted in, meaning they had no input in overturning brexit.

You only have to look at the likes Anna Soubry. Cried for 2 years about giving people a second chance to vote but refuses to call a bi-election and give people a second chance to vote. They were happy to give people a second referendum because they knew they’d still be in parliament to try and disrupt it again if it didn’t go their way. A general election means they’ll be voted out so giving people a voice is a non starter now.

If we end up with no deal and a Johnson /Farage government it will be the remainers in parliament who are to blame.

If you extrapolate that Jango, you then have to say that if we end up not leaving it’s the extreme Brexiteers in parliament who are to blame?

The reality is that 2 years ago they should have worked to find a consensus position reflecting the divided views of the country. The sort of agreement the leave campaign all stood for. A ‘Norway’ type arrangement. Instead, they chose to only focus on the 52% and pretended they all supported the most extreme version of brexit. The whole thing has been one long cock-up,

F*ck the 48 %. It was a decision whether to remain or leave. If remain had won 52 - 48 the remain side wouldn’t give a f*ck about the leave side.

So if it’d been the other way round, that would have been a vote to allow us to join the Euro, Schengen etc would it?

The increase in anger from the brexit side on here in the past couple of days is palpable. I thought Johnson was your saviour? Everyone had to just be more optimistic and it’d be fine? It was only that we had a remainer in charge otherwise the EU would give us all we wanted?

His own brother doesn’t even trust him.

I suppose against a vote to leave the EU

Politicians voting to enact a law that (via the need for the EU to agree a Deal) gives the EU full control to keep our Nation in the EU ad infinitum, or if they do decide to let us out, may set any terms whatsoever they wish upon our us, is a tad discombobulating.

Not wanting to answer for Lisa, but as of April this year, it looks like Carney was not only not apologising, but doubling down and saying he was correct:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-04-28/carney-s-not-sorry-about-brex

“What we said prior to the referendum is that we thought the exchange rate would fall, perhaps sharply, inflation would go up, and growth would slow,” Carney told a House of Lords committee in January. “After the referendum, the pound fell, sharply, inflation went up, and growth slowed.”

Here you go Chad. Found the post that you mysteriously missed last time.

As for my Laudrup dig, it was a reference to your head-in-the-sand approach at the time, refusing to accept any point made that didn't agree with your view until you flounced off the site for a time before returning under a different username.

Happy to disappoint you btw.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

When will it sink in that the brexit that was promised in the referendum is undeliverable, and the brexit that is deliverable is unpalatable. And no deal is not a negotiation position.

I hold all those who voted against May’s WA and the extension of article 50 responsible for not leaving before now. But we’ve had an extension and nothing has changed. Remainers have blocked us taking the threat of no deal down to wire of the negotiations for a second time. People can argue that it wouldn’t have made a difference but it’s nonsense! It’s our best bargaining tool. This extension is on the heads of the people trying cancel brexit all together. A Johnson and farage government would be a result of their refusal to accept the result of the referendum.

I think you're right.

In that case we might as well go for a second referendem?

We should have a referendum every Thursday until remain wins then immediately stop having referendums. In the event of a tie or a narrow leave win we give the victory to remain because nobody knew what they were voting for.

The people must be listened to and allowed to have their say. Only if they vote the correct way of course, otherwise we’ll just smear them as thick and racist.

So, if the bill comes in that prevents a no deal leave then that removes Labours objections to a general election what then happens?

If the GE returned a large number of leave MPs, could a bill be passed that would then allow a no deal leave?
