OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

Is this the same institute of fiscal studies that is heavily funded by the EU?

The IFS were a major player in project fear alongside Osbourne. They get a large funding from the EU and they are so desperate to prove all of their scaremongering prior to the vote was justified that throw anything negative they can at the economy or anything else positive about Brexit. Why remainers continue to use anything they say as part of their argument is baffling considering they’ve got everything so wrong up to now.

Yes, the EU distributes research funding. As do member state governments. The IFS gets a lot more from the UK research council than from the EU though, and that’s under a government elected on a leave ticket. So does that make them more biased towards Brexit? No. Because these research funds aren’t distributed politically.

It’s a lazy and inaccurate accusation, not backed up by any evidence.

The IFS have historically been accused of bias, but not to do with Brexit - more of a right wing slant reflecing the views of their key staff:

Agree.

But having said that, in some ways she’s played a bloody blinder.

Cut off attack from her right, specifically Johnson and Rees Mogg (they can’t admit she’s wrong).

Cut off attack from Labour (they can’t admit she’s wrong without calling out brexit and also have the problem about her allocating more to the NHS than they promised in the manifesto).

The brexiteers believe it (I have no idea why, but there we go).

If she now agrees a customs union (by any name) and a free trade agreement (by any name) she can point to this and say ‘we gave you what you want so shut up’ so the intellectually challenged can lap it up as a victory and brexit becomes a technicality with no back stop date.

It’s quite clever.

Laughable (because none of it would work if people didn’t want to believe the numbers, which are incidentally a complete fiction), but politically clever.

I wonder if we’re about to see an election.

The argument is lost.
Get behind your country and allow the government to make the best of it...if you succeed in frustrating democracy this time you are only making things worse in the long term and we will still leave in time, it will just be much more unpleasant.

Democracy means people can change their minds - or why bother with periodic elections at all ?

Listen ...the young people love the EU, so as soon as the old b@stards die off then the UK will

When an orginisation is happy to take vast sums of money from a political entity, then issue results from studies that support said political entities which makes national news and influences the electorate to think or vote in a certain way, questions need to be asked.

Now I'm not saying in this or any instance that there is bias or some sort of dodgy dealing going on, but if they want to give off the air of complete political impartiality and objectivity then they need to stop taking the money off political organisations. Otherwise questions will always be asked about what their motivations are.

So do you believe TM that this increase in money to the NHS will be part funded (to the tune of about 45%) by a brexit dividend?

Who’s changed their minds? All I see is remainers refusing to change theirs and trying to force brexiteers to. It’s quite embarrassing

If they don't take money off ultimately political organisations, there's nowhere for them to get money from. This is the problem they (and all publicly funded bodies) face. But clearly they've got some way to go in building confidence as everyone gripes about them.

If everyone 's complaining they're probably not overly biased one way or the other!
