OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

Starmer's speech should be on repeat for the next week on every TV channel and printed off and sent to everyone's home.

The way they've thrown Norn Iron under the bus has been brutal. Even the moderates.

That was one hell of a speech. Brilliant. If only he were the leader of the Opposition. Class act.

Absolutely. One of a worryingly small number of parliamentarians that are up to snuff. Labour would romp an election with him heading the party.

Starmer’s speech this afternoon effectively deconstructed the differences between this deal and the last one and why it was significantly worse for the UK. No one will any notice though over the cacophony “let’s get Brexit done “ etc.

Oh and the odious Sammy Wilson was spitting at Johnson’s abandonment of the northern Irish loyalists. It was hilarious.

The heights of hypocrisy were scaled though when Theresa May declared her support for a deal that includes border arrangements that she previously rejected as something that no Conservative and Unionist PM could ever countenance.

Oh if only it was him as LOTO and not the cabbage patch doll.

Just heard that boris is considering phoning in sick for the next two weeks so he won’t be well enough to send the letter.

In the Guardian that headline is directly above a headline that says ‘no delays vows PM after humiliating defeat’

That's the problem isn't it. The wrose time possible for Magic Grandpa to be 'leading' (used in the losest sense) Labour.

Despite her many faults, I hope Swinson can win over people who normallly only vote for one of the big two. There's no reason we need to be a mini-version of the States with only two (viable) parties. We have others availbale.

Any centrist/liberal Tory voter should now be looking at the LDs. Any New Labour (or frankly any one to the right of Leon Trotsky) should be looking at the LDs. Based solely on their position in the political landscape and policies, the LDs should be be clearing up, but old habits die hard (and Brexit confuses the issue too).

Greens are a genuine option in many EU states, but barly get of the ground here. We've got some good indipendents floating around. Plaid are genuinely the only party who can say they have Wales' interests solely at heart.

Just look beyond who you/your parent always voted for & who your constituency has voted for. Find out who the alternatives to the big two are; find out about your candidates and their manifestos when the campaing starts, and you may be surprised there's a better alternaitive to Magic Grandpa or a bunch of lying posh tvvats who've been running the UK (and Iindirectly Wales) into the ground over the last decade..

I know this is winding up the little Englanders, but ffs as an absolute minimum requirment we should be expecting the PM to comply with hte law. Same with Letwin's amendment, it's not about stopping the process, just making sure it's done properly and minimising the damage to the country.

We shouldn't have to be taking our PM/Government to court to force them to comply with the law.

Read the comments under the Crace piece that Monny linked to. Thoroughly depressing.

Some people praising Starmer for his speech and saying what a difference it would make if he was leader, only to be jumped on by rabid Corbynistas shouting Blairite, Tory lite, neocon, etc.

One poor deluded soul thinks Starmer is good at details but Corbyn is better at electioneering. Yeah, that's why Labour can't stop winning elections and are doing so well in the f*cking polls innit!

There you go Corbynistas. Enjoy a perpetual Tory government moving ever further to the right. You bloody idiots.

It's a cult. Much like Brexit. None of this is helpful to the state of our democracy (despite everyone shouting about democracy all the time).
