OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

An election is binding insofar as whoever wins it will be the government. But there’s nothing that says that party has to enact any or all of the policies contained in its manifesto.
Oh I agree with what you say there. Always thought of manifestos as a pack of lies on a bad day, fairytales on a good one.

What you tend to find is that new governments start off with good intentions and implement their flagship manifesto policies in the first year. Then events intervene and most of the rest of it goes south.
What is the chance of the UK (what will be left of it anyway) leaving the EU (Hmm, maybe not actually leaving per se) under the type of deal that Norway has? Schengen agreements on travel, which we have abstained from etc.?

That is not how our system is set up. Major changes are supposed to be in the Party's Manifesto so that the public know what they are getting when they vote for them. The Common Market wasn't, the EEC was at least a referendum and the EU wasn't, even though every Government since Heath have known what direction we were heading. But the public were deliberately kept in the dark about it.

Sorry AFD, that's not correct. We elect MPs to act for us, however their first duty is to act in the best interests of the country.
Can anyone explain how Brexit is acting in the best interests of the country?

True we do elect MP's to represents us, but on this one occasion they gave us a referendum to ask their constituents for their opinion on Brexit, their constituents gave their opinion, but in many cases the MP's chose to ignore it.

What I agree with you on is the whole thing was a car crash. Even though Cummings himself recommended a two stage process.
Seriously. Couldn’t we demolish Eton in the national interest. Anthony Eden (Suez crisis) Cameron (Brexit referendum) Boris .... please not. FFS they’re masters in screwing the country up. The tradition started when they provided dunce officers to lead the troops in the First World War and it’s continued ever since.

Yes, that is why Blair took us to War in Iraq, and Afghanistan, because it was in the best interests of the country. That is why Brown sold off most of our Gold at rock bottom prices, because it was for the good of the country. That is why they went for open borders, because that was also in the best interests of the country. The ony time they did the right thing was not joining the Eurozone.

Brexit. Wont. Solve. That.
Only a reform of the system will, which brexit won't do.
