No stamp duty for 1st time buyers on properties under £300,000 should be welcome for the young saving them a few grand, plus the income tax threshold going up again means all workers will gain.

With growth not hitting expectations sooner or later taxes will have to go up and not just the stealth taxes, the money needs to be raised from somewhere and I am not talking about Corbyns money tree or should I say orchard.

The little giveaways are a distraction from the real issue of poor growth, as that's where the money comes from. Worse growth in the G7, capital investment as a whole falling, we're not in the best place.

We're spending £3.2bn on a stamp duty break to get 3,500 more first time buyers on the property ladder.

That's £924,285.71 each.

Wheres the mention of the Panama papers where the super rich avoid paying taxes, once again helping the rich but no mention of the cuts with people on benefits, a disgrace with all this universal credit problems that are making people homeless all praise the tories for wrecking peoples lives and putting more children into poverty which will happen if they go through with Universal credit.

There are too many people on these islands. That's the bottom line, Tom.

The waiting days for Universal Credit have always been a miserly add on so glad they're getting rid of those.

Have a guess how many have been built to date...
