The Ashes 2017/18 21:55 - Nov 22 with 4250 views | exiledclaseboy | Starts in just over two hours in Brisbane. Neither team is particularly special this time. England’s batting line up is long but flaky, Australia’s pace attack sometimes dangerous but injury prone. The phoney war of words from the Aussie players in the build up has been increasingly silly. Nathan Lyon made himself look like a complete tool. I think England’s propensity for top order collapses will see Australia win. 3-1. Hope I’m wrong etc. C’mon, England.

The Ashes 2017/18 on 06:19 - Nov 23 with 4140 views | Dr_Winston | Partnership between Stoneman and Vince better than anything England managed in the entirety of the last series. Made a better start at least.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

The Ashes 2017/18 on 07:41 - Nov 23 with 4119 views | Cooperman | I’m in the ECB camp. England will do very well to come away with anything better than a 3-1 or 4-1 defeat. Whilst England are very capable of putting 30 to 40 overs of good batting together they are also more than capable of collapsing via a 6-18 spell or something similar. Cook out for 2 was pretty much the worst start possible and I’m surprised to see that England dug in a little from there. There’s no better way to shut up the Aussie pomp. A Brisbane test is one of the items on my bucket list along with the MCG on Boxing Day.

Great to see Vince and Stoneman playing proper test cricket with patience and excellent shot selection - especially on the first morning of The Ashes. Can't wait for the next session...Lyon v Moeen in particular. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
The Ashes 2017/18 on 10:52 - Nov 23 with 4067 views | pikeypaul | I only lasted until the weather stoppage but then caught the last 30 minutes when I awoke. Aus still favs for this test but have drifted from 8/11 to 11/10 not so much because England have come in on price but the draw hardened to 3/1 from 4/1.currently England are the value at 5/2.

The Ashes 2017/18 on 16:17 - Nov 23 with 4003 views | Watchman | Root Cook and Broad are the essential ones that have to fire. If Stokes is allowed to join the tour late on that would be massive esp if they come out of this test with at least a draw. Neither batting line up fills any fear into the opposition

Putting him into the stands three times in an over would shut the noisy cünt up. Ah well... Two pretty evenly matched sides, Stokes could have given us the edge. Massive twà t.

The Ashes 2017/18 on 21:19 - Nov 24 with 3817 views | exiledclaseboy | Ian Bell was asked on 5Live today about Lyon’s comments in the build up to this game about ending England careers. His response was “Yeah, Nathan’s not the brightest though”.

Every time I watch Smith I’m astonished that he’s managed to be so successful at the top level. He has no technique whatsoever. [Post edited 24 Nov 2017 21:43]

Up and at em attitude at the crease, he's a bit of a laid back character so that maybe explains his demeanour at the crease, its effective at least.

The Ashes 2017/18 on 08:51 - Nov 27 with 3670 views | trampie | After my boys Sri Lanka (still waiting for Wales to be recognised) had hammered the Baggy Green last year in a test series I thought even England should be able to beat Oz but no not in the first Ashes test anyway, Australia beat the English by 10 wkts.

This thing with Stokes, according to something I read its all been blown up all out of proportion, a Gay couple were being picked on and he just defended them, so the assailant then made a wrong decision to pick on Stokes and got dumped on his arse tough titties and learn your lesson. Get this sorted and clear Stokes and get him on the next plane out to Oz.
