ONE of the evil killers of toddler James Bulger is BACK in prison after being caught with vile child abuse images, The GGM can reveal.
Monster Jon Venables, now 35, was arrested last week in a top secret police operation.
Jon Venables was ten years old when he was arrested for the torture and murder of two-year-old James Bulger
Officials are understood to have found the stash of indecent material on his home computer during a routine visit early last week and swiftly alerted cops.
And chillingly, the grim haul is thought to include “sickening” child abuse images similar to those that sparked his recall to jail in 2010.
Just hours later Venables was taken under heavy guard to a maximum category A jail, which we cannot identify for legal reasons.
He is currently being held there for breaching the terms of the life licence handed to him and pal Robert Thompson after the abduction, torture and murder of two-year-old James on Merseyside in 1993.
Venables has not yet been charged with any offence but is now also the subject of a major police investigation.
The “immediate recall” procedure means Venables has been returned to prison twice in the last decade despite vast sums — estimated at up to £5 MILLION - being spent on his rehabilitation.
After Venables was freed on parole again in July 2013, James’ anguished dad Ralph Bulger warned: “It is only a matter of time before he caves in to his lust for young children again.”
And last night a source told us: “Venables’ recall is a huge blow to those who have championed the efforts to reform him over the past 25 years.
“Every expense has been afforded him, every expert opinion offered, every opportunity given. And yet here we are again and by anyone’s standards, the question has now to be asked whether he has finally run out of chances.
“If he is found to have committed a new offence, then why should the public continue to pay through the nose to protect his anonymity any longer?”
Venables is understood to have been living in a secret location in the North of England under a SECOND new identity given to him following his release from prison in 2013.
But news of his second recall to custody in just seven years is sure to spark fury from James’ parents, Denise Fergus and Ralph Bulger.
The convicted paedophile, seen as an ultra-high risk ex-offender, has been constantly monitored by probation officials in recent years.
They are believed to have visited his home early last week and found evidence of the images on an electronic device. |  |

I heard 100% he was in the old Farm School at Hillside in Neath. That was from a person working there who had no reason to lie. Though the person who told me was very hush hush over it. Don't know if they were sworn to secrecy. If so it wasn't working. [Post edited 23 Nov 2017 13:20]

Some believe prison is for rehabilitation
Most believe it should primary purpose is to protect the public and that means keeping them in prison or topping them , which we don't do in this country as its inhumane and immoral .

And Ralph said Venables, 35, should now face an adult life sentence for his childhood role in the horrific shopping-mall kidnap and killing of his two-year-old son 24 years ago.
Ralph criticised the decision to Âsquander £5million on rehabilitation and protect the true identity of Venables and co-killer Robert Thompson.
In an exclusive interview with the Sunday People, the angry dad said: “Why has Venables still got the privilege of a secret identity?
“He was given anonymity back when they were ten because the authorities were convinced they could rehabilitate him. We know now that failed and so when Venables re-offended he should not only have been recalled to prison for life but stripped of his hidden identity.

“What’s really damaging is that when Venables now commits crimes against children he is a grown 35-year-old man and all we see is a photograph of him as a young boy of ten.
If people saw a photo of him as the adult monster he truly is they would have a very different perception of the person committing the crimes instead of a picture of so called childhood innocence.
“He wasn’t innocent back then and he certainly isn’t innocent now but the Âdifference is he’s 35 and its time he faced real adult punishment.
“There are no valid excuses left to protect his identity. He should be treated no differently to other child killers.”
Venables, who abducted, tortured and murdered two-year-old James in 1993, is back in jail after he was caught with child abuse images.
It was his second recall since officials found him hoarding similar material in 2010.
Now, in a deeply personal interview with the Sunday People, Ralph says: “The horrific truth is that Jon Venables likes doing sick and terrible things to children.
“He enjoys torture, abuse and killing and he likes the publicity that his Ânotoriety brings.
“But I urge everyone to remember when they see old photos of Venables and Thompson that they don’t look like that any more. They are not kids anymore

Ralph was not informed by the Ministry of Justice or the probation service that his son’s killer had been thrown back in jail. Instead, he found out from newspapers and TV.
In a crime that shocked the UK, Venables and Thompson were ten when they were caught on CCTV snatching James in Bootle, Merseyside, after mum Denise let go of his hand to pay for some shopping.
The evil pair led him through traffic and along a canal Âtowpath before battering him with an iron bar.
They poured paint into his eyes, stoned him and clubbed him with bricks, then left him on a railway line to be hit by a train.
The twisted pair were detained in custody indefinitely before being released on a life licence in 2001.
Following Venables’ recall to prison this week, justice chiefs apologised to Ralph and vowed to keep him informed.
But the dad said: “It’s a disgrace. The Government would have been happy to keep this secret because then they wouldn’t have to admit they were wrong in ever releasing these violent sex predators.
“They cannot let this monster out of jail ever again. Venables will strike again and harm or kill another child like my James.
“He is a very dangerous and sick pervert with a twisted desire for young children. I have said this all along but no one would listen.
“In light of this further offending, justice chiefs must look again at James’s murder and admit it was a sexually motivated crime as I have said from day one.”
Ralph has consistently warned that his son’s killers remain a danger to children ever since he was released from a secure teenage unit at 18.
Venables and Thompson have never served a day in an adult prison.
Ralph said: “If they keep letting Venables out he will stay a danger because he is a paedophile killer who cannot control his depraved lust for young children.
“From the beginning I said that James’s murder was sexually motivated.
“You only have to look at the manner in which they tortured my son before killing him to know this is true but no one wanted to hear it or believe it because Thompson and Venables were just ten. Now they’re not. Venables is a grown man and extremely dangerous. It’s time to turn off the tap of tolerance and get tough on the men who killed my son.”
He added: “No one wants to accept that those ten-year-old boys were evil but history has shown it to be the truth.
“Now Venables is back Âbehind bars he should face Âsentencing for his recent abuse Âoffences as well as an adult sentence for murdering and torturing James.
“He has been given so many chances but he is unable to be anything but a cold- hearted child abuser and killer.
“That’s the way he is made and nothing can ever change that.
“The Government’s gruesome Âexperiment to try to rehabilitate this pair has failed and now my son deserves true justice.” Ralph criticised the Ministry of Justice for failing to inform him that Venables had been recalled to jail. He said: “My family is treated with scorn and contempt by the powers that be who Âcannot find the most basic courtesy to keep us informed.
“Everything is hushed up and without the media we would know nothing. I have campaigned to have real justice for James. I have never faltered in my belief that his killers were born evil and could never change.
“And I’ve said time and again that my son’s murder was sexually driven.

He said: “I’m sad that our daughter will never meet her big brother because I know James would have doted on her.
“It will always be tinged with sadness because James is missing from our family but I will tell my girl all about James as she grows up.”
Ralph has not publicly named his daughter because he cannot help himself fearing for her safety.
He said: “I cherish watching my Âdaughter grow up every single day.
“It reminds me of watching James grow from a baby into the most wonderful little toddler who was loved by everyone.
“There is nothing I won’t do to protect her. It’s just so very sad she will never meet her big brother.
“He would have been someone she could have looked up to and respect. I can just imagine him doting over her.”

I have heard it said that both killers had a bad upbringing and in one sense were victims themselves, is it possible to rehabilitate such people ?, put it like this I would not want them living next to me or people close to me.
What about their parents, nobody mentions them.
