Clement was intent on playing the diamond, their failure to get Arias and Chadli was a glaring error by those at the top. If we got those players then the whole dynamics of the team is changed.......attacking full backs each side with a creative 10 that has goals in him.
The ignorance to wait until January will cost us, points and players who are capable at this level....now we are stuck with very little points and scraping around for players who will come and play in a relegation fight.
Clement in his last 2 games has reverted back to the firmation he was intent on, you can see an improvement for sur, attacking is a massive issue. |  |

I thought Naughton did ok to be fair. We played very narrow, which was obviously the game time, both Ollson and Naughton struggled to stop crosses coming in due to this.
I would have loved to have seen Arias here, wasn't to be.
Lack of creative midfielder is why we will be relegated, January will be too late this time. Can't imagine anyone fancying it with how much trouble we are in and looking certs for relegation. |  | | |
