Having been to Selhurst Road many times it is certainly due a complete overhaul, but that impression of the "new stadium" is a very generous view.

The stadium is being developed in situ so it will have to be shoe horned into its current location whilst being used. I would be amazed if it ends up looking anything like the artists impression.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

There certainly is room for improvement there, but I cannot see how you can expand out with housing on almost every side.

It's not like Liverpool where they could buy all the houses relatively cheaply around Anfield.

This is London the prices and effect on house prices by expanding the stadium is bound to add a few million to the cost.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

Completely agree. No decent pubs around the station either or if there are they won't let you in. At least Stoke has the Harvesters and a decent double decker bus for away fans.

Well done Palace. They're expanding their stadium whether they get relegated or not.

They aren't a bigger club than us and we should be just as positive.

Poll: Who should be our next manager? Please name them.
