I can see why his name and that of others would be repeatidly linked with the club. If they have been deemed the right type of player/right fit once, then the club may still see them as being the right type of player now. I was sarcastically referring to the link to Ayew. But yeah, it works for that tweet too - shows why there's so much resistance to change as people genuinely believe the former directors are our saviours. Maybe 5 years ago that would have been a reasonable assumption (although I'm well aware people didn't like them even when we were getting things right).

According to Transfermarkt hes got 11 goals and 8 assists in 42 games.
A lot of them were sub appearances - if you add up all the minutes played its more like 27 games.
For that reason I think they will be very reluctant to sell him to a relegation rival. |  |
