I am sure everyone wants him to do well. Don't get the "I told you so" nonsense that some spout on here. Why would anyone want him to fail? A very odd concept indeed.

Yes bit odd but when you get lots of stuff wrong I suppose it's nice to point out when you get something right.

You love a strawman don't you? Inventing scenarios so you can 'prove' yourself right. Very odd and you don't need to do it.

I don't remember any Bony knockers, just people who said it was a risk as he'd barely played for 2 years. It was. And I'm sure anyone who said that is delighted he's starting to show that he's still got it.

Yep that's how I saw it. The Res loves a bit of 'I wuz right' ;-)
I hope it continues. He is one of the glimmer of lights at the end of the tunnel.

An agressive and hungry Bony is a defenders nightmare.
A slow amd passive Bony is certainly a frustration.

Man City won't be so eager to leave our attackers to their own devices come Wednesday.

It's not about point scoring it's about giving the so called lesser lights a chance.

The Siggy love in was the true embarrassment.

Also,Naughton up there for man of the match today. Bet most hate that as well...

And sorry Dung and friends but sometimes your constant chipping away at our so called lesser lights needs addressing.

We are still playing very much within ourselves due to fear from the stands, and quite often that witch hunting starts online.

Bony a cart horse compared to Llorente?! How many bottles of wine did you have with that meal?

Bony isn't the most dynamic striker, I get that and it used to frustrated me the first time he was here. He's statuesque compared to what we'd seen before with Michu, and even Danny Graham come to that. And he used to sometimes have the first touch of a brick wall. But Llorente was one of the least mobile strikers we've ever had and can't match Bony's touch and footwork.

It was a shame Bony picked up that injury, and he was always going to take a while to recover form after a bad 2 years anyway. But it's starting to look like he's never been away. He'll be hugely important to us this season.

Given what we've seen over the last few games there way I'd now bet against him getting into double figures.

I certainly agree that the crowd really should lay off singling out players. Clem and the players are all we have got to get us out of this mess.
I am sure today I heard booing when Wayne's name was mentioned in the team announcement by Kevin Johns. This was followed by ironic cheering when he was eventually hooked.
Carroll has come in for pelters as well in the past and it serves no purpose.
I know where the blame lies, and who should be having the flack, but we disagree on that one ;-)

You're ritual abuse of Siggy is arse wrenchingly poor

Lesser ...now there s a clue there

I wouldn't include Rotledge ,as he s off the scale

Routledge was awful today......as was Carol, it's hard to cheer players that play as if they don't give a f*ck.

And don't mention the outside of Routledge's boot.

I was one of the Bony knockers but i have to say he played well today and led by example.

2 goals in his last 2 games and should have been 3 in 3, time will tell but i still feel it was the wrong move to go back for him, hope to god i'm wrong?

Deffo need another striker in January for more fire power, also 2 full backs to compete with Naughton and Olsson.

Apart from that i think we will have a much better 2nd half of the season and who knows?
