Oh I disagree, I think the Welsh stadium is better, the Welsh one is a fans favorite, nothing wrong with the stadium itself and the location once you are there is superb for fans.

Why has England got more Euro games ? on 13:37 - Dec 10 with 1473 views | shandyjack | Why would they host an international game at a ground that the Natuonal team don’t even like to use?

Having worked as a steward in the Stadium for 19 years and most of the FA cup finals, the overwhelming feedback from fans was that the Millennium Stadium and it's City Centre location was far better than Wembley

Location wise it’s a no brainer, Wembley is miles from anywhere and annoyingly inconvenient to get to. But once you’re there Wembley knocks spots off the MillStad in my opinion.

Why has England got more Euro games ? on 14:33 - Dec 10 with 1372 views | andypitt56 | Probably because Wales have not played their in the qualifying matches. And the fact Wembley has one of the biggest capacities in the UK. Don't forget it's all a money making thing as well.

Fans think the Welsh national stadium is superb, they don't all think that about Wembley, all those English teams going to Kaardiff for the FA Cup final for years and they thought it was great. Real Madrid and Juve fans praised it after the Champions League final. It's one of the best stadiums in the World because it's a good stadium in a city centre location. It's fishy that Wembley has been given more games and Wales hasn't been given any.

Miles from anywhere??? You can get the Oxo and multiple train lines there, mun. On a serious note I can think believe how much the area has changed in the past 10 years

Why has England got more Euro games ? on 14:41 - Dec 10 with 1330 views | AguycalledJack | Perhaps the traffic chaos in and out of the Cardiff on match days is the reason. Also, why again is it England have got more games? Perhaps a more appropriate thread title is why was Wembley picked and not the Principality Stadium? [Post edited 10 Dec 2017 14:43]

Of course where that falls down is that when other fans used to visit the Millstad, the new Wembley wasn't even built!

The new Wembley is the same location as the old Wembley, a backwater. Once games started at the new Wembley people made comparisons and they thought that the Welsh national stadium was great.

You're missing the point. The comparisons made to Rev when he was working there as a steward was between the Old Wembley and The Millstad. Try asking our own fans if they would have preferred to have gone to Millstad for the Play off final win or League cup final! You know what the answer will be. Not everyone goes for a day on the piss mind!

I find it a dark dismal hole with a shocking pitch as no decent sunlight can get at it. A stadium built on greed. The New Arms Park was fine and ripe for expansion. It should have been built in Bridgend or even further West. Had this been done Wales would have been in a much better position to host major competitions rather than have all its eggs in one Cardiff basket as usual.

Fans at the champions league final were raving about the Stadium and the city. The weather helped too. Decision to opt for London might be down to the supply of hotel rooms but we did ok for CL. Road congestion is an issue for all major cities so doubt it's that. Regardless, on any match day - football or rugby, there aren't many stadia in the world that can match it for atmosphere, inside and out. [Post edited 10 Dec 2017 15:51]

Why has England got more Euro games ? on 15:54 - Dec 10 with 1177 views | SPboy | There’s no doubt that the Cardiff city centre location makes for a great experience and day out. However getting to and from Cardiff on a match day via public transport is a joke unless you are happy to give up large sections of your day to queuing. I know dozens of hard core rugby people who no longer go to internationals due to poor transport links. Add to that a poor playing surface even when newly laid. The main clincher I suspect will be the extra capacity at Wembley. EUFA will want guarantees of filling their coffers too. They will not be too interested in matchday experiences for the fans or the economy of South Wales
