interesting to see a goal like this... feels like alot has changed but have to say... in that video I saw taylor, Jazz richards and leroy lita.... if players like them can play this type of football then with the correct manager.. our team could pick it up... hopefully our next appointment will bring back the old style a bit more.

Thought there was shades of Rodgers in Saturday's game the way we started to make the pitch bigger. We didn't quite pull it off but Leon and staff have only had a few days. Liverpool will be a much harder prospect but be nice to see if we can keep the ball well.

I thought there were shades of Rodgers in Saturday's game as well. It was more to do with Narsingh's dental work though.

Yep. They kicked us off the park all game then Joe Allen got sent off for two nothing bookings. Been saying for ages that if those players could play like that then there's no reason we couldn't go back to doing the same thing, that squad didn't have better individuals or cost a lof of money but was still far better than the current lot.

Were you on the Railway bus? I was eating a mashed potato and potato pie (allegedy a "meat and potato pie" but CIS Lancashire would have struggled to find any meat) outside next to a few local "casuals" who visibly paled as it went past. Heard one of them say - "Fookin' 'ell - look at that lot!"
