That's the point - he terminated his contact so no pay off, if the story was true of course. I don't believe it given that Gonzo and Monks weren't exactly best mates. They made Darran and Perch seem like birds of a feather by all accounts 😂 |  |

He was willing to pay Gary off, get Pulis straight in and lose a couple of million. He thought that was better than leaving it go on for weeks and weeks, unsettling his own squad and may lose the chance of Pulis. | | | |
