No you have got that wrong, Newmarket deals with all sorts of horses, it was the trauma center for the Olympics, they do eventers, show jumpers, Sunday hackers as well as racehorses, horses come from all over Europe to be treated, they have a huge team of experts and a multi million pound facility.

One could argue the same has happened in the South Wales Valleys. Remember Wales has cheap property and is attractive for retirement to many. Does not, sadly, seem to be driving development or the economy much though. Call centres and services seem to be all I see in Swansea and around Chester. The decline is also there is the massive Deeside Industrial park h=just over from where I live. There are fewer production units and more retail and services. If Airbus pull out after Brexit, it will kill the NE Wales economy. | | | |

English immigration is a problem for Wales, the net figure of incomers in the press this week balances out that everyone of them is over 65, how is Welsh services meant to cope with that ? and often rural services also which is more expensive to run. | |
