I must admit I,m still confused as to HJ role in the club. Am I right in thinking he is a self appointed Director of football? I thought that In general, directors of football are not shareholders in the club, or hold a nominal stake. Isn’t there a conflict of interest if the DOF is also a shareholder and the a Chairman?
Other clubs would surely sack a DOF that is under performing. With the early signs that Sako and Yiadom are our targets and our finances are shot It’s not looking too promising on the transfer front. Maybe as Chairman HJ should sack his DOF instead of blaming a succession of managers.
