That's an easy one. When the sardine arrives he calls them a lobster or a seabass.
There is a chance he can find cheap continental options that will do the job. There is also a bigger chance it will be uninspiring choices that Huw has been chasing for years and these will be foisted on Carlos.
If it is the former we have a chance. If it is the latter then yet another poor and/or late window will shove the final nail into the coffin. Jenkins ego will ensure this will be the scenario as he continues desperately try to convince the Yanks he is a football messiah.
Saving face is more important to him than ensuring the wellbeing of the club. |  |

Tbf, Carlos said that he's got players in mind, is speaking to people he knows in other clubs, and is making recommendations to (presumably) Huw. That was the crux of his lobster/sardine analogy.
It's likely we can't afford what he wants, but it does sound as though he's got ideas and will have a reasonable input. |
Which *may* be a very bad idea according to the Sheff Wed fans forum. People there think he wasted millions on bizarre signings and played his favourites while better, established players were stuck in the reserves. |  |
