| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I know that Darr but when I went last season it looked a hell of a lot different all seated compared to standing on a railway sleeper as a kid back in the 1970’s for a midweek League Cup tie in August 😂😂 Bit like Cardiff Arms Park/Millenium Stadium (Principality now) 👠

It's actually at 90 degrees to the 'old' Dean Court so could be classed as a new stadium!

I often think of what the Vetch would have looked like redeveloped? Close the centre stand and make everyone go in the east and and North Bank whilst the centre stand was being rebuilt then do the opposite whilst we redid the north Bank.

Same Club different Grounds visited on 21:40 - Jan 7 with 2224 views | bonymine | There are a few more Clubs who have moved to/from stadiums but I have only been to one of them.... Northampton ; went to the County Ground in the 70’s (next to the cricket pitch) but not done Sixfields Coventry ; been to Ricoh Arena but not Highfield Road Sunderland ; been to Stadium Of Light but not Roker Park Edit ; Wet Spam ; done Upton Park (Boleyn Ground) ..who can ever forget that FA Cup ‘experience’ in 1980 but not done the Olympic/London Stadium. I went to Rotherham for a midweek FA Cup replay once I think it was back in the 90’s me & my mate went up on a Supporters Club bus took 5/6 hours to get there we got off the bus, the game was called off (can’t remember if it was rain or frozen pitch) we had 10 minutes to ‘stretch our legs’ then another 5/6 hours back to Swansea 🙈🙈🙈 And not a ‘Happy Clapper’ in sight back in those days .....😂😂😂

They moved to the Don Valley around 2007 and I’d seen the Rolling Stones there. Lots of Swans fans didn’t like because I used to say I’d been there and they hadn’t.

Remember the ‘vision’ for the Ground redevelopment at the Vetch Darr ? Glossy brochures as well very impressive back in those days ..... We opened the new East Stand against West Ham I remember it well when me & the old man had ‘Father & Son’ Season Tickets in the old Double Decker. Actually, Huw Jenkins’ Dad Gordon sat in front of us for many years but he didn’t have a ‘Father and Son’ Season Ticket so I don’t know what his son Huw was interested in back in those days ? ....😉😉 Anyway, me & the old man bought the Club ‘Building Bonds’ to help finance the build then when it all went tits up we had to waive our right to repayment of our money in order for the Club to survive under Dougie Sharpe’s rescue package.... I wonder if Jenkins, Morgan & Dineen lost any money back in those days trying to ‘help the Club’ or did they just stitch us all up at a later date which is well documented ???? .....
