This is our Next Level, can see Mawson going and possibly Ki as well if he wasn't injured, notsure what other Jewels will be left to sell after those two though Fab maybe, but I doubt he'll command anymore than say 5mill, that won't go far between 27 greedy mouths through. | |

Well Rubin are in deep financially and trying to offload players like Yann M'Vila.

A close mate of mine has been doing some consultancy work for them and he said the club's in a shocking state. You wouldn't believe some of the things going on inside the club. I think they had something like 120 senior players at one stage last year.
Football (like most other businesses) in Russia is extremely corrupt - so much so that I actually advised my mate to back off, even though he was under the umbrella of one of the Big 4 audit firms.
On the positive side, they need to sell so we might get a good deal but I doubt we're really interested in him. It's probably just his agent porning him out to anyone he fancies naming. |  |

Dealing with Russian football clubs often requires someone being paid off somewhere but that's what the agents are there for....and they do elsewhere in the world too.
It reminds me of the story of Arshavin joining Arsenal. When he realised he'd lose half the wages he'd agree in tax, he decided not to join them and headed for Heathrow. On the way, one of Arsenal's shareholders personally called him and told him to turn around immediately. Out of respect, he did. When he got to London he was "rewarded" with a huge handful of diamonds to "cover his losses". That shareholder was also Russian and happened to own a diamond mine! [Post edited 8 Jan 2018 19:08]
