Sumbler is leading a crazy war against the club hierachy but remember it was not that long ago he was drinking champagne and eating hobnobs with the Swansea City elite receiving free executive tickets thanks to his position with the Trust.

Wonder why he is so bitter now all of this has gone?

Dont be a sheep and follow the hypocrite.

Support the club.

Don't agree Lorraine as Jenkins makes the final decision .

If we had been sold to a Chinese Consortium ,we just might have made the next level .

We ll never know of course but it's clear our owners have no intention of putting serious money in

I agree with you. Carlos has had a reaction, now he needs new faces to freshen things up and then who knows...

I agree with this and while I understand your stance on the ‘JenkIns out’ etc, sideshow, it’s why I still support it.

If we survive this season, it will be the third in a row that we have seriously flirted with relegation in the first half, changed the manager and dragged ourselves out of trouble. If that does happen, the pressure on him will subside and we could very well be faced with another season under him. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect a shoddy summer window, Carlos’ job becoming untenable at some point in October/November and us to sack him 6 weeks after we should have.

If I was certain he’d be gone in the summer regardless, I’d agree with you. Forget all that, just get behind the team. I think we really need to break the cycle now though, before we become the next Sunderland, if we haven’t already.

I don’t even want him out because of spite, pride or any of that, I just think his presence as DoF is harming the club because he is no longer very good at his job.

You make a lot of sense. My main two worries would be:

1. Do we have someone lined up who can quickly adapt and perform to help keep us up this season?

and....

2. Slightly less relevant, but worth mentioning, is that it's a "get out of jail free" card for Jenkins. Shouldn't he see our potential relegation through to the end, or at least sweat blood trying to keep us up?

Poll: Simple...would you want Leon in the squad right now, if he was available?

The answer to 1 is clearly no.

It's the 12th January and, given that our position has been pretty desperate since August, forward thinking on this clearly hasn't taken place.

1. Is a very valid concern. Once this window is done though, there won’t be a lot of influence he can have until the summer. My worry is if he is still here towards the end of this season, he’ll have a negative impact on our summer transfer business.

I don’t expect the Americans to be football experts. I do expect them to be capable of employing someone who can do that job to a passable standard.

2. I couldn’t care less about him as a person. I don’t feel the need to punish him and won’t care if he makes millions more by selling his remaining stake or sits in the directors box on match day. I just don’t want him running the football side of the club.

Nothing whatsoever with disagreeing Lorraine.

I can handle anything but apathy and in fairness to DP and Res , at least they clearly care. It's how we move as a unit that matters now.

We clearly have a chairman who s unfit in so many ways . He won't go and he needs to . If he promised to go at the end of the season instead of hinting then I d be happy .

Supporting the team ? Well, yes but I'm sorry but to watches abject performances is hard to swallow. Supporters don't win games. We think so but they don't

So is it ok to want Jenkins et al. out but also get behind the team? Or do you have to pick a side?

Im very indecisive see.

This is bickering all so boring now... here’s what I think the facts are...

Are we going down because of the fans? No

Does the fans negativity at the games help anyone apart from the opposition? No

Are we here because the club was sold? No

In hindsight, did the Trust do the best job it could have done? No

Was that for any malicious reason? No

Are they the biggest culprits in this? No

Would we have got to the “next level” without spending stupid money? No

Could we have afforded that? No

Would any owners put money in and expect nothing in return? No

Are we right to live within our means irrespective of who owns us? Yes

Do any of us want the club riddled with 100s of millions of pounds worth of debt? No

If we get relegated are we any closer to “getting our club back”? No

Will Jenkins going now make any positive difference to our season? No

Has he made terrible decisions over the years regarding recruitment? Yes

Is he the only person to ever do this? No

Did he do a great job for years? Yes

Was it down to him and the board alone? No

Was he a sly tw*t for selling behind the Trust’s back? Yes

Should he ever be forgiven? No

Did we all love him being a sly tw*t when he was doing it to other clubs? Yes

Should we all get behind the team and focus on supporting them for the next few months in the hope that it’ll help us stay up? Yes

Let’s stop acting like a bunch of dicks. It’s what they want.

I’d agree with nearly all of that. Sensible and pragmatic.

Completely disagree with the last line though, what they want the fanbase to do is sit in the corner quietly and submissively accept whatever they serve up.

On balance, I think that our chances this weekend are harmed rather more by the fact we don't have a right back, a creative midfielder or a wing that can occasionally cross the ball to a forward (I'm not certain we have one if those that's fit either) than by a bunch of people arguing on the Internet.

Call me naive...

Also, had this sort of thread been on a Cardiff forum 4 years ago, we'd have all been laughing at it. And rightly so.

Take swanseacityx’ petulant tirade out (I know it accounts for a good few pages) and there are decent points being made on both sides of the debate. Wanting what’s best for the club doesn’t mean everyone has to think that is the same thing
