We had some people running around a pole and trying to score a goal a season or two ago.
I've always suggested a slugfest in the centre circle between local hardmen.
Any entertainment at half time will always be low key and not for the grown ups as they want them in the concourse drinking pints of cold piss and ramming pies down their throats as people cant go 120 minutes without food or drink.

I remember many moons ago ( 74 I think) at the Vetch being involved in a schools penalty shootout. 3 players plus a keeper - 9 pens winner goes through to next round. My chance of glory as a 10 year old ...missed 3 out of 3! Haunted me ever since! Good entertainment though, championing your local school against your rivals.

Would the club maximise profit from this though?
It's an interesting concept. Why do people need entertaining for 15 minutes during a match? Are we not able to do so ourselves? Could we not speak to those around us about the 45 just witnessed or current issues, or life in general?
All good.

A no holds barred scrap between Enzo Mac and Huw Jenkins.
That would be a crowd pleaser.

No profit at all for the club...but what it does is offer 8 young kids the opportunity to start a life long affiliation with the club for free. None of this ridiculous mascot fees that exclude many of the poorest young people in this city. Surely our rich American friends (and the sell outs before them) could do without fleecing us for every single penny! Ffs how much does it cost to let a young boy or girl run around in the pitch with a ball !!

I agree. However those times are sadly now long gone.

Yep and it’s these simple core values that have distanced many supporters. Scfc is gradually being strangled by greed. So sad really as it could have been all so different.

I'm always amazed that people can't go to the theatre or cinema for a couple of hours without rustling bags of sweets, or slurping large containers of Coke (other brands are available). And then over 2/3rds of the Coke cup contains ice, so they pay a fortune for someone's frozen tap water! Bonkers!

most away games I have been to there is no entertainment at half time. Don't see it as a necessity myself it's 15 minutes I'm sure we could survive without anything going on. Watch the highlights on the screen that will take about 30 seconds these days only another 14 and a half minutes to wait

No incentive for the owners to provide half time entertainment.
Le the consumers consume the “beer” and “food” that they sell them.
#fleecethesheep.
That's a good point. Entertainment doesn't make money...they need people buying £7 hotdogs (or however much they are) and expensive watered down beers.
