I have seriously considered the bread and milk shortages that would come with an event like this? Been down ASDA in times when there has been a severe snow warning and you've got to move quick cos the shelves empty quick. It's bedlam, someone only has to say the dreaded words "four inches of snow" and its absolute chaos
Could you imagine what ASDA will be like after a multiple warhead nuclear strike on U.K soil? The power grid will be down, fuel shortages, the transport network compromised with many bakery employees either off sick with radiation poisoning or worse still totally vapourised!
And? A bottle of milk will become has radioactive as the cows that it came from! My point? What's the point of an early warning?

I've thought about the hiding bit but? I am streetwise enough to realise that a Warburton’s sliced loaf will (post strike) become a limited-edition collectors item in exactly the same way The Sex Pistols God Save The Queen 7inch single on the A+M label is.
