Well, well, so boycotting the Wolves match in protest at booking fees won't have any effect, eh?

Hit the greedy feckers in the pocket, it's the only language they understand.

That was announced last Friday - before the Wolves game. I'm not defending the club here btw.

No. It was announced when the Crystal Palace game details were announced.

I mentioned it on here at the time.

There has been a lot of lobbying about this, not least from the Trust.

Do they still want to charge you if you take the time to visit them in the ticket office?

I still don't understand why, when you are buying their product online, using your own equipment, what you are paying the extra for.

Yep it was! But the only thing that is going to wake up the Yanks, Jenkins and sell-outs is lesser returns in revenue. Nicely worded letters and polite debate will achieve nothing with that lot.

They clearly want people to purchase online or through the app, rather than go to the ticket office in person.

My theory on this is that they will probably try to bin quite a few of the ticket office staff when we go down, and this is part of the process. Very sad...

Well I purchased Brighton tickets via the app and paid £1.60 per transaction, that was on Monday so it's only just changed.

I think the plan is to get ALL ticket sales on line and totally remove a public facing operation. The scale of the charges are designed to shock people with the £2.50 charge, initially reduce to £1.60 for online knowing this ap was coming out for £1.25. It reminds me of high pressure selling techniques i.e 'one off sale but ending tonight'.

The fee still applies per ticket purchased not per transaction ... mm ?? Pretty sure last time I booked airline tickets there was only one transaction fee not fee per ticket.

Just renewed my season ticket ... fee = £3.50 !!!

Yeah, it's not as if the ticket agency needs to employ people, or pay them a wage.
