We all think slavery is a terrible thing from the past but the facts are there's more people in slavery now than at any point of history, including countless thousands in this country.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Lots of football kits are using child slaves to make them.

I know the old England Umbro kits were made by children in Indonesia... I remember watching a documentary about it.

Fair play to the Swans if they are actually going to dig deep into the supply chains that provide our merchandise etc....

They should probably stop selling Nestle products tho!!!

Most modern slavery in the UK takes place at those car washes and nail bars apparently.

Yes and the agricultural industry allegedly.

Modern Slavery in Swansea took place at one.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It's the virtue signalling bo**ox that all firms are including in their blurb these days.

One would wonder why, if you don't take advantage of the current burgeoning slavery trade and have no intention of doing do so you really need to proclaim that fact?

How do you feel about, Anti Bullying & Harassment, Equality & Diversity, Disability, Young Persons, etc. Is that "virtue signalling" bollocks as well?

Always confuses me around Christmas time when people insist on the new fad of wearing Christmas Jumpers for charity. Most are bought cheaply from Primark and other such high street stores and are made by young people for pence per week all for some hilarious "Look at me!" outing.

We live in skewed times.

I feel different things about a lot of subjects.

On this particular subject do I feel that it is necessary for respectable firms and companies who wouldn't dream of adding slaves to their workforce to put an anti slavery policy on their literature?

Nope.

Do you really think that the Yanks are interested in this (a worthy crusade though it may be) ? This is just a diversion, yet another smokescreen to divert attention from the real issues confronting the club.
