That's a very interesting question.

In the end I plumped with the signing option on the basis of us having a transfer surplus from the summer, it's a signing that would strengthen us and he does at least have some resale value for the next two years.

I like Ayew. But not on the deal thats been touted, especially with Ki going the other way. Plus we would lose out financially, plus wouldnt the deal be part funded by this mysterious extra cash the Yanks said they would add to the transfer fund? i.e. a loan?

Ayew will unbalance things.
