What pattern was your bandanna? I'm going for a snazzy stars and stripes number?

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.
Poll: Would you support military action against Syria on what we know so far?

Lots of people in America would say it’s a racist one these days.

Perhaps he's a country/ rockabilly fan and it's a memento of a trip down south?

Might be. Just seems an odd thing to publicly display. Each to their own.

If you ever go to the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville the first thing that greets you as you enter is a large board that states this music emigrated from the British Isles.

The Carter Family, the first family of Country Music, are emigres from the Afan Valley. We've also given them, amongst others, Hank Williams, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Phillips, Carl Perkins, George Jones, Whitey Morgan, Tammy Wynnette (Virginia Pugh) and Conway Twitty (Harry Jenkins)

The fiddle music may well have been Scots Irish, Killy, but the voice, the soul, that was made in Wales.

That was shot in Layla's on Lower Broadway in Nashville. It's like that every day and night of the week. Chances are that was probably not even filmed on a weekend, it could just as easily have been a Tuesday teatime in February.

There are venues all over the south, mate, but if you're specifically chasing the music then Nashville and Austin are where it's at. Go. Don't even stop to think.
