You actually believe he mixed all the ingredients and cooked those cakes himself because he said he’d been cooking?

As you say,facking hell.

I do actually. I don't think his wife is with him in Wales, but just a guess.

Fair enough Chris.
Maybe you're right and I am getting too old.
Certainly feel it it at times, in work and life away from football.

Congrats on your new arrival if I haven't already btw.
Newborns are a great, special feeling.
Even when they get older causing all sorts of trials and tribulations you'll look back and laugh mate.

And yes, I'm looking forward to us being at Wemberlee in May for our last game of the season, just as I predicted/ hoped for at the season start (FA cup and mid table finish.)
We'll have a coffee, laugh and sing song.
I'd have a beer but guaranteed HRH the responsible one will want me to drive back home

You're not the only one mate and I know this as I feel it too.

It was easy being a youngster watching the Swans and dreaming of success we never thought we'd get.

It is hard to handle success sometimes and easy to forget what it took to get it.

I am no Jenkins apologist although I accept it looks like that more and more. But trust me, if he was gone I wouldn't bat an eyelid and I get why all are so up in arms.

All I'm worried about is the Club staying on some sort of even keel and I genuinely think there's a lot to be grateful for.

Cheers mate 👍

I've lived and worked in the city, I am there for every home games. I come down to Swansea as much as I can because it's always been like that.

Swansea first, Cardiff fack off. There was a time, a long, long time I wouldn't spend any money in Cardiff, I got that childish about it. And I loved being that childish

I love the City, I love the football club. You're a nobody who moved away and thought you were better?? And haha why, like? Cos you met a bird from up North and you were introduced to a slight different culture. You thought you knew better then did you, thought you had made something of yourself and everyone else left in Wales was somehow left behind?

It's a sad story Rich.

No it’s not. Though if he’s been involved in football most of his life I doubt he knows how to switch one on.

It's a really, really sad post from a passionate supporter. It makes me sad anyway.

Fundamentally this is SCFC you're talking about and SCFC has never been all the things you extol throughout its history, far bloody from it actually.

You're getting older and like paupers who suddenly win the lottery and haven't got a clue what else to hope for in life you're leaving your emotions get the better of you.

This is because SCFC were never, ever supposed to be in the Premier League, it was never really a part of the plan, just some nice dream that we'd never really fulfill

Yeah we did it before, so that dream, as fanciful as it always felt, was still a distant hope, but truth of the matter is, and if we're being honest with ourselves, we never really thought we'd see these days again.

Now that fantasy has been realised its like fans have got nothing left to dream about. I've always said that's the worst place a state of mind can get to. Not having anything to dream about.

And it's affecting your thought process and intelligence.

When you strip everything back and when you're so old all you'll have left is memories with the grandchildren etc you'll talk of the times Jenkins and Co brought us. Yeah you'll mention you did the hard miles on Tuesday nights miles from home but you'll sit up and speak with pride about two Wembley trips, the best grounds in all the land and European adventures.

This is what THEY GAVE YOU.

You are being so incredibly ungrateful to think you could have all the success all the time and you'd never have to encounter tougher times again. That is sorely petulant and painfully pathetic.

You list off a lot of achievements but most of what you say is all untrue. You've made it all up on the spot to promote a very one sided argument. Laudrup, by the way, had a disastrous record against the big boys. 900 passes against Arsenal? You sure about that?? Arsenal, mind...!!!?

The old owners haven't stolen anything either, they sold their own property and whilst we can feel aggrieved they left the Trust out of their dealings, it was still their assets to dispose of, and may I also remind you, and quite clearly, we've still got our 21%

Why can't you just chill out, understand football is all about cycles and dealing with new adventures and see where this latest one takes us. The first half of the season has been poor and frustrating, the last 10, 12 games have been bloody exciting, exhilarating and fun.

This is the life of a football fan, if you can't understand the very basics that go along with it, you're a very fragile old soul who perhaps needs to think about a new pastime.

And Dewi, I'm not singling you out in particular because I like you a lot, but you do go on very unfairly a lot about all this and it needs saying.

We're all Swans fans, we were under Sharpe and Petty and we'll be so under whoever may come our way, yeah?

Come on mate. Quarter finals of the Cup beckoning and a massive game on the South Coast.

It's facking brilliant, and we've got Jenkins to thank for all this.

Well I must say that is the longest 'never mind how much they eff up you should be grateful' post I have ever seen.
For someone who does not give an eff about Jenkins, I believe you have said that a few times, you don't half spend a lot of energy defending him. The whole football world can see our decline. Only a few on here are blind to it.
I think I will repeat myself once more. I believe virtually everyone is grateful for the work and commitment shown up until the ML sacking.
It was a dream, no one exepected it when money was put in to save the club. I have done it on a few occasions.
Just because that dream turned into a Gold Rush does not give the right to those involved to oversee the clusterfeck of the last few years.
We need a DOF with a football brain and recruitment team of merit or this downward spiral will continue. We probably do not even need a DOF. Just a Chairman, a manager and a sh!t hot recruitment team.
It appears we may have the manager. The rest needs to be up for grabs. That is just a term btw. It will be a very serious business getting the right people in.

You haven't got a clue what you're talking about have you.

Have a lie down

Up until Laudrup? He was failing us FFS
He was rightly sacked FFS, he'd lost the plot FFS, he'd lost the players FFS.

And his Turkish wide boy got us 2 players. Big facking wow. You want to compare this sheister with anything good we've done as a club directly? You carry on and more fool you.

How long has he been going by the way. What's his full history like? If it wasn't for Michu nobody would even think about him.

7 years and counting in the hardest league in world football is not facking up you clown. We're a big village team as well, not some sprawling metropolis.

You seem to be so dull you think that because we did wonderful things once and for 5% of our whole existence that we can carry on doing this for time immemorial.

You're clueless.

Don't take it personally he told me I was getting too old and to stay the fukc away from the club when I had the cheek to criticise a performance a few months back.

All I can say is he must be nicer in person than what he is on here or he would be in Morriston with a crowd around him

There is no magic formula for managerial success FFS.

Football isn't like any other business you buzzard.

I didn't say there was though, did I? I also didn't try and compare football with any other business, did I?

I just disagreed with your mate. Your mate who seems to think a club the size of ours sacking 5 managers in 4 years is no different to a club like Real Madrid sacking 5 managers in 10 years.

Dear, dear you really are losing your arguments aren't you? Name calling is always a good sign.
You have shifted from making flags to get Jenkins out, to saying hold back trying to get him out until the close season, to patrolling this board like a tiger for any hint of criticism of Jenkins. In short acting like his biggest fan. Some transformation.
Can't even be bothered to get into arguments with you about ML, or the fact that Swansea has every right to be in this League as it has a much going for it as half the teams in there with us. Both points are a diversion and have been done to death.
