He said that the people within Cardiff had no civic pride and out of a population of around 340,000 people only 8,000 could call themselves true Cardiff fans.
He went on to say that some of his mates used the sale of John To shack in the 70's as a reason never to go again and spoke of people he knew only wanting to see if they went up this season before getting PL ST's for next season, and then only to see the big boys come to town.
