Take a bow son.

Quite worrying that young players like him could easily slip through the net, even have their confidence knocked so much that they could fall out of league football.

Keep it up and he will have a good career.

Yup our best player today and showed great desire and fight, especially against that 6.6 monster.

Did well enough with Boyd when it looked like they were targeting that side in the first twenty minutes.

Disappointing going forward in comparison to some of his past performances. No Bony to pick out today, mind. Tammy's a harder target to find.

Naughton was decent today at CB. Defended and got forward well.

I thought he started poorly today but improved as the game progressed. I wouldn't be surprised if he was moved on though, Kingsley was at least equally as good and they moved him on and left us with no cover for left back.

Close to best player for us today. Defended well and put his body on the line numerous times. Got that bit of steel about him and loves getting his foot in for a tackle.
Watch this space as he gains confidence in going forward and gets a decent ball in the box. Hopefully he gets his chance amd cements his spot in the team for few years to come.

He made a number of mistakes today which better players would have punished and turned into goals. He also could have been red carded for a stamp on an opponent which he did very well to fool the officials into thinking was nothing.

He's no better than Kingsley, he's no where near ready to displace Naughton either. He should be playing week out in the championship so he can learn not to make the mistakes he does.

Connor did well today, he did the simple things well. Maybe he's a bit to quick to sling in a cross. I wouldn't start him ahead of Naughton in the Premier League. PS is generally too hard on Naughton IMHO.

Very good player and worth a chance, Naughton played is part today and to be absolutely fair doesn't deserve most of the stick he gets, his problem is that he concentrates to much on the ball instead or the opo's players running in amongst it all a lot of the time, decent player that apart though in fairness.

Because Naughton is a better player than him. At the moment.

Would you honestly risk him in vital Premier league games? Playing him in the cup makes sense, even against Spurs if it happens.

Naughton is miles ahead of Roberts. The young lad is very naive all to be expected at his age.

Great to see the youngsters get a run out.

It must be just me that doesn’t class 22 as a youngster in football then?
