The title of that book is 'llosers'

On my cabinet I have a bell which I ring to alert the house boy. He then brings me what I need. Best thing I ever bought...I mean the house boy, not the bell, of course.

Good luck, Mr Cooper

Apart from the shrunken heads of my enemies my cabinet is disappointingly bare.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

A jar of petroleum jelly.
A long distance taken photo of Darran.
An anus relaxer ( pre 1996) with the buffalo horn tip.
Tv remote.
Several court summons for car parking at landore.
And my pride and joy - some pubic hair which I collected from the trough after Curt had a piss.Could be worth a mint in years to come.

When I saw the title of thread I was hoping Loyal had replied.

Not disappointed by the answer

A bit too close for comfort.

You read 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley mate? If not, stick it on your reading list. Seems the more likely direction humanity is headed...!

I preferred 1984 too, I just think that as dystopian futures go, we're headed more toward Huxley's vision.

I've not read that pal but it looks interesting for sure, I've added it to my list. I read 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' many moons ago but his work certainly looks like it warrants further investigation. Cheers :)

Tidy.

Well if we are going that way, I don't mind being loaded up with Soma. I would agree we are heading toward the Brave New World version. Amazing considering when it was written.

On a slight side note, Scientology always strikes me as being based on 1984.
