Remember Cardiff is not an historical city, development as a port for the coal industry in the 19th and 20th century . Hardly historical ‘ great city’ is it? I like Cardiff but it is increasingly identikit and has lost much of its character. The civic centre is nice and the new developments are lovely but great city it is not.
