Got to laugh at all the plebs on Facebook, mostly mothers with the middle name of yummymummy or such derivative, who are going mad about the schools being closed.
If they hadn't closed them, but then had to contact the parents halfway through the day, they would have been lambasted because "they knew the snow was coming, why leave it so late" type rants.

I've taken the decision to work from home over the next few days, as I'm simply not willing to risk getting caught out.
I can do what I need from home anyway, but there is always that doubt with employers about how it will be perceived.
