The snow is sticking on top of ice- it hit minus 7 here yesterday evening.
The slush is freezing in the potholes of which there are thousands. Driving normally is like playing join the dots |  |

It seems we could be on the edge of it all, we might see a vague covering in Neath and Swansea but not much else I think, the main bulk of it all is probably gonna be Bridgend, Cardiff and further east. |  |

Its the wind thats pissing me off at the moment - it nearly blew the corrugated steel roof off the shed - I've battened down the hatches with some breeze blocks for now. There's no way I'm fixing a roof in this weather! | |

No it was the 10.27 to Didcot Parkway. The only train that left Paddington because of the slippery platforms! Got a train to Newport and shared a taxi to Abergavenny because Arriva trains are not running up to Hereford. I think they are all having a maintenance check or something. Hope they are bloody running on Saturday. |  |

I was in Aberdare at 10 am and it was pretty bad then I was up in Merthyr and it was worse. I was really worried as I had to go down to Cardiff which had the red warning. I got there and it was fine. Bloody hell though, by the time I had finished the job it was coming down in buckets and I was glad to get out as it looked like it could be bad for those living and driving there.
We are getting it now though the wind is doing a great job blowing it off the road. |  |
