I think its not so much the snow that's falling its the wind blowing it around that's making it look like its coming down heavy, well up here at least |  |

I was working in Luton yesterday. Finished at about 1.30 and then drove home. Bit tricky between the Severn Bridge and the other side of Cardiff but over all got away with it. The volume of traffic on the roads was the least that I have ever seen on the M1, M25 and M4 and, in the main, people drove in relation to the conditions. There was the odd exception of course.... and my biggest concern was that the handful of people that did dull thins, particularly changing lanes, were bloody lorry drivers!! |  | | |

I was watching the weather radar last night as Emma fought with The Beast.
You had wave after wave of snow banging across Devon and Cornwall and heading straight for South Wales.
As it crossed the Bristol Channel the snow storms would split either side of Swansea Bay. Not the Region, just the Bay. It was incredible.
We seem to have our own micro climate when it comes to avoiding snow. Rain is a different story though as we are the wettest City in the UK. We get the whole shooting match.
It's all very strange :-) |  |

Check with the AA. Looking at BBC Cardiff news it seems most of our South Wales was under 6 foot if snow and there has been havoc caused by storms in the North.
