I’m going to see Clapton in Hyde park in the summer with Santana, Steve Winwood and Gary Clarke on the bill as well which makes it much better value and a great day out (weather permitting).

I really like some of his stuff but I thought he was a little too flash live.
Was never a fan but Mrs Mute wanted to see him so we went to see him in Cardiff a few years ago. I have to admit I enjoyed the gig and especially one number which I’ve tried to find without success. It started with a Spanish style guitar solo which was absolutely fantastic but I have no idea of the title. Not a lot to go on , but if anyone has a clue what it might have been I would be very grateful.

Thanks very much ðŸ‘. I just found the tickets, it was actually 2011 😳. I’m pretty sure it was Woke Up Dreaming listening to that. There doesn’t appear to be a set list for that gig that I could find, so again thanks, Mrs Mute will be pleased too.
