With most sides having tough games this weekend, and Newcastle facing Southampton.
This is a real must win game and a chance for us to put some real daylight between us and the bottom three (and the chasing pack.)
We have to go for the jugular same as we did against WHU

Yes, but not as "gung-ho" as against Brighton, by Carlos's own admission.
Hopefully, learning from that tactical error (his only one so far) will stand us in good stead for the remaining games 😁

I agree.

If we survive the opening 20, which will be intense as their crowd also know the importance, I think we have the quality to cause them serious problems. Stating the obvious but we need to defend like we are at home to have any chance, too many times we have gone away from home and surrendered this season.

Shame we're not playing Arsenal (again) rather than Huddersfield...guaranteed 3pts

I don't think it's must win and a point would suffice.

A draw Saturday is a good result...but...a win and we almost have one foot in the 2018/19 Premier League. We could then give Spurs a real good go without having to prioritise the league so much.

The Brighton mistake won’t be repeated. I think we’ll start cautiously, but will have enough for the three points. Bringing King and A Ayew into that team added a lot of energy and industry to what was already a pretty solid base.

I got a good feeling about Saturday.

The two Ayew's will cause serious problems. If we don't concede in first 20/25 minutes, quiet the crowd down, I think we could put a few on them. The first quarter is massive though.

Palace are at Chelsea, stoke home to man city.

A point for us should at least maintain our gap over those 2

I wouldn't bet against Palarse in that one Chelsea have been far to hot and cold lately, excellent against Barca other week though.
Palarse beat them there last yr when Lardarse was in charge.

Only Stoke and West Ham have conceded more goals this season than Hudds, and we saw how the WHU back line crumbled under pressure last Saturday.

If we can keep them out at our end we've got a decent chance of three points, but a draw would be more than acceptable.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Several clubs are going to have a three-week break until the matches on 31 March. Go into the break after a defeat on Saturday could be really bad for their morale. Lucky for us that we're still in the FA Cup, eh.
