Got to admit, shame-faced, that l left the ground 10 minutes before the end, partly for transport reasons, but mainly because my nerves were absolutely shredded, and they weren't improved by boarding a train half full of boozy Man Ure fans.
And God knows why some of our fans get so trashed before the game: 4 glassy-eyed blokes in their 40s, none of them able to say "bread", propping each other up, except for one who couldn't get off the floor. This in the concourse before kick off. They probably staggered away after the game unaware of the result! |  | | |

How do they get in behind when we're sitting in two deep blocks? Might as well ask them why they didn't play on the counter, our gameplan after the sending off limited their available options. |
They simply weren't good enough to do it. Little skill or patience and even less imagination - it was obvious that lumping it into the box wasn't working.
Are you saying that the top six sides would have been forced to lump it into the box as well or would they have tried to pass their way through?
